The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will host an open house and Barbering program showcase at the college’s Homewood-Brushton Center (701 N Homewood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15208) on Wednesday, June 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

CCAC Students Named to the PACCC 2026 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team

CCAC is proud to announce the CCAC students honored by the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges (PACCC) as part of the organization’s annual All-Pennsylvania Academic Team.

CCAC hosts open house events, financial aid workshop and campus tours in April

CCAC will host April open house events at the college’s Main campus, South campus and West Hills Center. A Financial Aid Workshop is also planned at CCAC Main campus. In addition, campus tours will be held throughout the month at the four CCAC campuses.

CCAC Barbering Students Earn Mental Wellness Ambassador and Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Certifications

CCAC Barbering students at the college’s Homewood-Brushton Center have completed the “Our HAIR” (Health Access Initiative for Recovery) training program offered as part of the center’s collaboration with the Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (Community Care). The class received certificates for both Wellness Ambassador and QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper programs.
