CCAC Women's Council
The mission of CCAC Women's Council is to provide a collective voice to address advancement and professional development of women in the CCAC community.
Established in 1993, Women's Council embraces as its goals and vision cultural diversity, learning, professional development, advocacy, gender equality and recognition of skills and talents of women in the College.
Women's Council embraces culture, learning, and professional development. It strives to foster an environment of mutual respect and collaborations with departments and committees within the college while establishing liaisons with external agencies and organizations that further the goals of the College and women at the College.
Women's Council has many activities and programs. For example, it sponsors a leadership mentoring program, awards an annual scholarship to a returning female student, provides professional development workshops for all college personnel and holds a recognition dinner to honor women who have been influential in our careers and lives.
CCAC Women's Council hosts four general membership meetings per year and rotates days, times and location. Members are encouraged to attend, but attendance is not mandatory.

The CCAC Women's Council has begun a rolling membership. The membership period starts the month the application is received and runs for one year. Dues are determined on a 2-tier scale fee as dictated by the by-laws:
Women's Council has added the option for you to pay your dues for a five year period at one time. In doing so, you save a full year's dues. See membership application for current fees. There is also an opportunity for you to donate an amount of your choice to the Women's Council Scholarship Fund. This is strictly optional.
