Scholarships Now Available for Parents Attending CCAC

CCAC is offering scholarships to assist parenting students with personal and financial needs through grant funding provided by from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The CCAC Parent Pathways scholarship will provide one on one support and coaching and up to $5,000 to eligible parenting students for personal, academic, financial, familial and emergency support. Participants will receive wrap-around assistance and guidance from CCAC and Pittsburgh Scholar House.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a CCAC credit or noncredit degree or workforce program that spans one academic year or less. Currently enrolled CCAC students who are one year from graduation/program completion are also invited to apply. Applicants need to be in good academic, behavioral, and financial standing and on track to graduate in the next academic year. All applicants must have completed the 2024 FASFA to be considered for the program. Once awarded, a Parent Pathways scholar must maintain their good academic, behavioral and financial standing and participate in a minimum of 50% of the program's onboarding and wrap-around services.

NOTE: Interested students should apply by August 1st for consideration with the Fall 2024 semester.  Applications are reviewed by a committee.  Spaces are limited and not all applicants will be accepted into the program.
