About Articulation Agreements

The Community College of Allegheny County has articulation agreements with 29 colleges and universities that facilitate easy credit transfers in 125 programs.

Students should consult with the counselor at your campus early in your stay at CCAC to both select a transfer institution and to discuss your program choice at that institution. A successful transfer depends on identifying your program and institution as early as possible.

The Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center Web Site

The Pennsylvania community colleges and Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE-state universities) have developed a web site PATRAC (Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center) that allows students to check the transferability of certain general education courses to other community colleges and the state universities. This is a useful tool to be used with CCAC Counseling Services. See www.patrac.org. A course may transfer, but may not meet the requirements in a student's chosen program. CCAC Counselors can help you to select the best general education courses for your selected program.
