CCAC Educational Foundation Hosts Annual Scholarship Luncheon

(L to R) CCAC student scholarship recipients Mukhammed Mamatysaev, Savy Dunlevy and Ceresa Morsaint were featured as part of the program during the CCAC Educational Foundation’s annual luncheon.
The Community College of Allegheny County’s Educational Foundation hosted its annual scholarship luncheon on Tuesday, March 4, at the Daniel G. and Carole L. Kamin Science Center. More than 190 of CCAC’s 2024–2025 student scholarship recipients and foundation donors attended the event. Members of the CCAC Board of Trustees and the Educational Foundation Board of Directors were also in attendance.
More than 120 scholarships, including 11 new funds, have supported a total of 667 CCAC student recipients through the college’s Educational Foundation this year. Overall, CCAC students will receive more than $640,000 in scholarship aid from the foundation during the 2024-2025 academic year.
“Every year I look forward to this annual scholarship luncheon,” said Jamie McMahon, chief executive officer of the CCAC Educational Foundation. “The achievements of our students are significant, and this is a good opportunity to recognize them, and also allow our many generous donors understand the impact of their giving more directly. I am proud to say that over the past five years we have more than tripled the amount of scholarship aid provided by the Educational Foundation.”
