The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners® (NABCEP®) is the most respected, well-established and widely recognized certification organization for professionals in the field of renewable energy. NABCEP offers certifications and credentials for skilled professionals, specialists and those new to working in the areas of photovoltaics, solar heating and small wind technologies.


Program Outcomes

CCAC is a NABCEP Accredited Training Company, meaning our curriculum has been reviewed and approved by leading industry experts. Upon completing the course, participants are eligible to take the NABCEP Associate exam. Passing qualifies an individual to design, sell, install or maintain systems in a supervised capacity. 

As the market grows for photovoltaic technologies, industry employers seek professionals with a NABCEP Associate credential. The credential indicates that job candidates are committed to the profession and have a proven understanding of the terminology and operations of photovoltaic systems.

The Solar Photovoltaic Technician program is open to all students regardless of academic or professional experience.
